Rainwater Collection Tank

Type of rainwater collection tanks

Rainwater collection tanks have different types.  As vertical, horizontal, underground or above ground we can group these tanks. But we can group these tanks in two main group with separator or without separator. And production can be supplied as vertical, horizontal for both of these groups.

Separator Rainwater Collection Tank

We separate solid materials from collected rainwater. With this any material like stone, leaf or any other solid materials that can be in rainwater separated and collected in filling chamber.

Hydrophore Pump Use

Separator rainwater tanks can be produced for different pump use. Generally these tanks are place to underground, so we design tank pump connections that you can be used easily.

No Description
M1 1st chamber manway with vent pipe
M2 Pump Manhole – 3rd Chamber manway
M3 2nd Chamber manway with vent pipe
1N Inlet Pipe – with 90° Elbow
2N Solid material barrier for filter pipes.
3N Chamber separator
4N Filter Separator Plate
5N 2 pieces PVC filter pipes
6N Pump connection double sided
7N Checkvalve with filter
8N Vent pipes for each manhole
9N Lifting Lugs
Working Process
  • Rainwater pipes will be connected to tank inlet pipe (1n). We can increase inlet pipe to collect rainwater from different sides.
  • Material barrier is a fiberglas plate (2n). This barrier will block going of solid waste into filter pipes. (ex. stone, leaf, paper.)
  • Chamber separator (3n). This is a fiberglass plate. Separate first chamber from other chambers.
  • Horizontal filter plate (4n). This is a fiberglass plate has some small holes on it. Rainwater is filtered in filter pipes will drop on this plate. If any solid material can not be filtered in pipes, will be filtered on this chamber.
  • PVC filter pipes (5n). These pipes will filter rainwater from thinner materials. Filling water into pipes will drip second chamber.
  • Hydrophore pump will be connected to this threaded part. Also you can connect garden watering system and home water use separately. This is a threaded pvc connection (6n). This pipe will be removable because of you will need clean checkvalve (7n) in specific periods.
  • Vent pipes (8n). There will be a pvc ventilator for all chambers.
  • Lifting lugs (9n). Will be used to place tank to underground.

Standard Rainwater Collection Tank

There is no separator for these tanks. Rainwater will be collected into tank and will be flooded with hydrophore pump. There are different types for these tanks. Also we can design rainwater collection tank accordingly your project.

No Description
M1 1st chamber manway
M2 Pump Manhole – 2nd Chamber manway
1N Inlet Pipe – with 90° Elbow
2N PVC vent pipe
3N Pump connection – Direction of connection can be rotated.
4N PVC Checkvalve.
5N Fiberglass support wall.
6N Lifting lugs
Working Process
  • Rainwater pipes will be connected to tank inlet pipe (1n). We can increase inlet pipe to collect rainwater from different sides.
  • Vent pipe for tank (2n). Will supply ventilation of water.
  • PVC threaded elbow (3n). Pump connection will be supplied with this. This pipe is fixed to cover of pump manhole. So you can clean checkvalve in specific periods also you can rotate direction of connection accordingly your project.
  • PVC filter checkvalve (4n). Will supply filtering for collecting rainwater. Also it will be useful to  pump’s long use.
  • Fiberglass support wall (5n). Its quantity is changable accordinglu tank capacity.
  • Lifting lugs (6n). Will be used to place tank to underground.

Other Types of Rainwater Collection Tank

We can design your tanks accordingly your request.  Tank has more inlet pipe, overflow, filter manhole, outlet and much more equipment. You can see an sample project at below.

No Description
M Manhole with special FRP filter box
1 PVC inlet pipes
2 PVC overflow pipe
3 Watering connection for pump
4 Discharge connection for cleaning of tank
5 Manhole filter, removable and cleanable
5N Fiberglass support wall.
6 Backside manway
7 Lifting Lugs
8 Level sensor connection
9 Support wall
Working Process
  • Both of tanks have double inlet pipe and rainwater pipes will be connected to these pipes (1n).
  • Overflow pipes will suplly when rainwater fills to filter manhole more than capacity of filter manhole, to flow out of anywhere you will connect pipe (2n).
  • Female threaded adaptor for connection of tank to system (3n). Will located to higher level from discharge adaptor.
  • Discharge or cleaning adaptor (4n). Will be used to discharge of tank before cleaning.
  • Fiberglass filter manhole (5n). Rainwater fills into this part. When water reach half of filter will fill into tank. There are small holes on filter manhole.
  • Survey manhole for tank (6n). It is lockable PE cover.
  • Lifting lugs for both of tanks (7n). 2 lugs for each tank.
  • Female threaded adaptor for level sensor (8n).
  • Dividing walls for support (9n).
